I love your incense! I have been using your product for the past 5 years now and I can't get enough of the Morning Star Vanilla and Patchouli. The prices are definitely reasonable for the amount you get and I wouldn't use any other incense. Thank you!

My favorite is the Fragrance Memories line. They are so different from traditional incense fragrances. I think the best one is wake up. Its light and refreshing and it keeps my house smelling lovely!

I choose NipponKodo's products due to their quality. They take a handful of products and make them very well and the results show.
My favorite incense is Morning Star's Jasmine. It is pleasant and so subtle that even my sensitive cats don't run away from the scent. It retains enough presence to make the room fragrant and an enjoyable place for reading and passing one's time indoors.

We first encountered Nipponkodo incense as a free gift when we were staying at Ten Thousand Waves Spa in Santa Fe, New Mexico on our honeymoon. Our favorite type is “Dream of Dreams – Autumnal” and whenever we burn it we are reminded of that special time in our lives. We have now acquired a steady Nippon habit and burn your incense almost every day.

opps...my name is B. Weber and my email is bweber@ou.edu

My favorites are: Morningstar patchouli, musk and vanilla, and Morningstar Gold fresh cedar, spicy Amber and Royal sandalwood, and New Morningstar Earth.

Definitely the Kayuragi line, but especially the Pomegranate. Oddly enough, it helps me keep awake while I'm working, but it's still subtle and clean. I've been wanting to give the Osmanthus a shot too.

I always find myself drawn to the Fragrance Memories line, especially Coconut Sky, Paris Cafe, Siesta Siesta and Mountain Breath.

I discovered your incense in a candle shop in Northern California. It was the first I had found in years that had a Sandalwood fragrance that actually smelled like pure sandalwood! The lavender was also wonderful. I haven't tried a lot of the other fragrances, but after reading the comments above I now have a new list of scents to try! Your products are marvelous and I'm thrilled to have found your company.

My favorites are the FM Santa Fe Breeze and also Sahara Moon as they evoke memories for me.
I also love the ka-fuh White Plum for morning.
My favorite evening scents are the Morningstar gold Aloeswood.

I love the Morning Star jasmine fragrance. Being a smoker, this incense keeps the house from smelling like smoke without an overpowering scent.

My favorite is Daigan-koh Rosewood longstick. A delicate fragrance that does not cloy; one stick last well over an hour. Next, is the Shin Mainichi-koh (sandalwood): a heavier scent, but not overpowering. Chrysanthemum smokeless is great too. Also, orders are processed efficiently and quickly.

I have always enjoyed the Morning Star Cedarwood. It reminds me of my childhood time spent in the Washington forests. You have very special products that help people contemplate their navels and clear their heads. Thank You keep up the great scents!

Meditate Active which is not being sold any longer

Bergermot which sadly is lonely sold on bambo

I miss the Scents in the Thick Long Stick I have the holder ut you do not stock the sticks for the holder any longer.

Lavender is a old time relaxer

Regards,
Brian

I enjoy Nippon Kodo's traditional scents like Mainichi-koh Viva and Diagen-koh because they are subtle and don't overpower me. Works well for meditation practice. At other times I enjoy some of the more intense scents like Morning Star Gold Royal Sandalwood -- very nice!

I bought your Herb and Earth whn I was in a little shop in San Fran and loved it! Lavender and Orange Spice are my favorites! Ordering online is a fabulous deal so you have a devoted customer here! Thanks!

My favourite is Morning Star Green Tea: http://www.nipponkodo.com/cgi-bin/2004/detail.cgi?id=98721&search_string=Basic,%20MORNING%20STAR
First time I bought it in tiny shop in China Town in NYC and I got addicted to it ;-). I kept searching for it in the stores for over 3 years until I found it on-line. No one else makes this "flavour" of incense. The scent really reminds of the taste of Japanese (not Chinese!) green tea :-).

Living in a house without an air conditioner during these hot summer days I particularly appreciate the cool scent of the Aqua and Note Marine incenses.

I like NK incense because while burning they seem to give off no scent but that of the frangrance of the incense. I can't detect the odor of binder or dye. And An NK incense show by their apprearance, packaging and performance a degree of care and pride of craftsmanship and tradition that it lacking in any other incense available in the United States that I've run across.

My favorite is the sandle wood. The scent is light and fresh.

My favorite NKs to date:

Kyara Taikan and Kyara Kongo - Lovely kyara blends and about as affordable an incense with that ingredient as exists. The gift boxes are very sexy.

New Morning Star/Earth - the best cinnamon/chocolate blend around and very affordable.

and just about all of the Yume-No Yume line. I'm more of a wood person, but these are incredibly unique blends. Favorite is probably Bamboo Leaf which reminds me of the best sweet green patchoulis.

My blog is one of the few on the internet that reviews incense on a regular basis and would love to see more reviews ... somewhere.

Best, Mike

I am in love with NK's incense.
My favorite lines are: Morning Star, Fragrance Memories, and Ka-Fuh.

Morning Star is very reasonably priced and I love the variety of fragrances.
I am enthralled with the new Lotus and Yuzu fragrance.
Lotus smells like your passing through a wonderful field of flowers, and Yuzu is very clean; almost as if you just stepped out of the shower.

My favorite from Fragrance Memories without a doubt is Paris Cafe.
It is so relaxing that I light it before I go to sleep.
(New MorningStar Earth is another very good cinnamon/chocolate blend. It smells like someone is baking cinnamon rolls!)
White Blossom is also very good.

All of the Ka-Fuh are very good.
The new Daphne smells amazing, and Aqua will always be one of my favorite.

hay!!
good project :)
senks :)

My favorite incense was in the old NK Style line (now called Fragrance Memories).

It was called "Great Africa". The main notes were cacao, clove and frankincense. The scent was uniquely rich and satisfying. When Nippon Kodo discontinued it, frankly I was devastated! (Apparently it was very popular in the North American market, but not in Japan?)

NK... please, please bring back Great Africa. It is the most pleasant, warm, fantastic incense I have ever smelled... and that is coming from someone who's lived in India, arguably the incense capital of the world. Everyone I know who came across it raved about it, even people who don't like incense in general. I am begging you to bring it back. There are enough loyal fans in the US to make it worth your while. Please?

Morning Star Cedarwood Incense is by far the best smelling incense I've ever used! Its clean and fresh scent will pick your spirits up - no matter how low they might be - and leave you feeling refreshed and at peace with the world. If you think that's too big a claim to make, try it!
